This delightful cottage is situated in a superb position overlooking the River Ewe in the village of Poolewe. It combines tranquil views of the river, yet is only two minutes walk from the sea and all this charming village has to offer.
 
The cottage benefits from two new extensions providing a large lounge and separate large kitchen. Perfect for gathering with friends and family after a day walking one of the many routes this area has to offer.  Poolewe is a very pretty village and has a village shop providing holiday essentials a hotel/bar, three cafés, children’s play area, indoor swimming pool and a village hall, which hosts a local producers weekly market and is not to be missed. The cottage is ideally situated for walking, there are many excellent walks close by, and there are many outstanding sandy beaches within a short drive. There are many walks straight from the door, a favourite following the river to where it meets Loch Ewe and spotting the local wildlife on the way.
 
The world famous Inverewe Gardens are only 10 minutes walk away and the River Ewe is one of the best salmon fishing rivers in the area. Gairloch, the nearest small town, is only 6 miles away and there you will find a range of shops, restaurants and hotels. From Gairloch pier, fishing and wildlife cruises can be arranged and there is also a golf course and a pony trekking centre.
 
Riverside Cottage is the perfect place to enjoy a slower place of life, whether it be rock pooling at one the many beaches close by, wildlife watching along the river or enjoying coffee and cake at one of the welcoming cafes in the village.
